Uzzuzzu My Pet – Korean blockbuster enters the global market with RedDeer.Games this year

RedDeer.Games, an independent publisher and developer of Nintendo Switch games, announced cooperation with OOSSO Inc. – a Korean character planning, development, and marketing company. Starting this year, famous in all of South Korea and part of the Asia regions – friendly pets from Uzzuzzu My Pet will start their journey in games and apps designed for all age users of Nintendo Switch.

Until now, Uzzuzzu My Pet – in addition to their popular animated films or mascots-have, settled with more than 8 million Koreans through the CATV, SNS. Besides South Korea, the series and related products are also popular in China and Indonesia. Through the established partnership, starting this year – more people around the world will have a chance to familiarize themselves with these cute Uzzuzzu animal friends.

Three projects from Uzzuzzu My Pet coming this year

At the end of the first quarter of 2023 RDG has announced the releases of three titles in the Uzzuzzu My Pet series for Nintendo Switch. The first of which – Uzzuzzu My Pet, with beautiful coloring book will arrive later this year at the end of the first quarter.

Upcoming quarterly plans include the Uzzuzzu My Pet friends clock – which will follow one of the most popular series of apps created by RedDeer.Games. Like the previous apps – users will be able to personalize their clock by choosing their favourite theme, which in this version will be a pet from the Uzzuzzu family, or set the whole pack.
 

The last title announced for this year, will focus on a social game from Uzzuzzu My Pet world, which, along with its characters, will take Nintendo Switch console users on a truly wild and dancey fun get-together with friends.

Meet Boo, Tary, Kung and Ta – Korean cute dogs and cats from Uzzuzzu My Pet 

Uzzuzzu My Pet is a group of four adorable friends, grooving to exciting rhythms. Boo – a Bichon Frisé puppy who will use anything as a chew, Tary the Ragdoll cat, a partying Golden Retriever named Kung, and Ta – a lazy Persian cat who likes to eat, sleep and play. They differ in species, breeds and personalities, but each is equally unique, and their friendship blooms. Together they make an inseparable and crazy pack, having fun and prancing to the lively rhythms of music.

The first games and apps in the Uzzuzuu My Pet series will be released on Nintendo Switch consoles as of the end of the first quarter of 2023. RedDeer.Games already plans to expand its portfolio with more productions featuring popular pets in future release years.

O KAZstudio

The Treflik Family comes to Nintendo Switch. RedDeer.Games is teaming up with KAZstudio SA – part of the Trefl Group

RedDeer.Games one of the biggest publisher of Nintendo Switch games, awarded as the fastest-growing gamedev company in Central Europe embarking on a new chapter with its partnership with the studio animation KAZstudio – part of the Trefl Group, Europe’s leading puzzle and board game manufacturer.

Thanks to the cooperation, the popular characters of the children’s series, The Treflik Family, will make their way to consoles.

BRAND NEW TREFLIK PRODUCTS ON NINTENDO SWITCH

TREFLIK – THE UNIQUE, EXTRAORDINARY FAMILY

Treflik, Treflinka and their extraordinary family show children the world around them to help them understand it.  The animated musical series The Treflik Family was created in 2013 at KAZstudio in Gdynia, Poland. It quickly won the sympathy of families around the world. It has been created in the traditional stop-motion animation technique, in which to create one second of the show – 25 pictures are taken. Furthermore, it gives more than 12,500 pictures per episode.

ABOUT KAZstudio

KAZstudio SA (formerly Studio Trefl SA) was established in 2013 in Gdynia, Poland. The studio specializes in traditional stop-motion animation using set design and handmade puppets. Currently, the studio has produced 77 episodes of the popular TV series “The Treflik Family” and 104 episodes of the non-dialogue animation “Babies and Teddy Bear”. Most popular operating system – nOS for Nintendo Switch returns today with new DLC

RedDeer.Games, an independent publisher and developer of Nintendo Switch games, launched three new DLC for their successful well-received operating system – nOS, extended the functionality of an application.

nOS, a top 10 most popular games in Nintendo eShop –  is an old-school operating system developed and published for Nintendo Switch users by RedDeer.Games. nOS transforms the console into an amazing, and surprisingly small personal computer. Users are able to draw, write, calculate, organize their day and play around with available tools.

The three new nOS DLC launched today include –  Icon Themes DLC with 11 icon themes, to customize the screen even more. Screensaver Clock DLC – a cute watch showing the current time when the screensaver is on. Users will be able to choose their perfect screensaver from three different schemes. The last DLC is something totally retro – Long Cat DLC – a classic snake game in a completely new cat edition.

nOS operating system, alongside the newest DLC, are available on Nintendo Switch eShop.

RedDeer.Games will create games and apps in the universe of The Smurfs! 

A collaboration between RedDeer.Games and IMPS – The Smurfs has put new apps and games in production for the Nintendo Switch console, which will feature The Smurfs – the globally popular blue characters known from movies, TV series and comic books.

The products will be available later in 2023. 

SMURFS ON NINTENDO SWITCH
RedDeer.Games will use their experience gained from developing some of the most popular apps and games on Nintendo Switch, such as nOS, Sport & Fun: Swimming, Family Chess, Comic Coloring Book, and AAA Clock, to develop family-friendly apps for fun and learning.

POP CULTURE PHENOMENON
Stories about a village of friendly, cooperative Smurfs and the wizard Gargamel who hunts them have been attracting children in front of screens and comic book pages for years. 

The blue folks made their comic book debut, written by Pierre Culliford (a.k.a. Peyo), back in the 1950s, and animated series featuring them have been broadcast in more than 100 countries and raised several generations.

The latest feature-length films with the Smurfs (the first in the series was released in 2011), in which 3D animation was mixed with scenes recorded with real actors, have also gained great popularity. These Hollywood blockbusters from Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation starred Neil Patrick Harris, Katy Perry, and other great actors. The three instalments generated a total of more than $1 billion in revenue.

In 2022, the Smurfs brand owners announced a partnership with Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Animation. It will result in more high-budget film projects with a first theatrical release slated for February 2025. 

YEAR OF SMURFS
RedDeer.Games will act as both producer and publisher of new apps with the Smurfs for Nintendo Switch. This year’s console launch will coincide with the celebration of the Smurfs’ 65th anniversary, the debut of the Smurfs new series on popular streaming platforms, and some new exciting announcement about the long-awaited new Smurf movie.
