Retrofuturistic Mechanic 8230: Escape from Ilgrot debuts today on Nintendo Switch, as the third game of this month’s Indie Spring Spree Event

RedDeer.Games, an independent game developer, and publisher, has announced the release of the adventure game Mechanic 8230: Escape from Ilgrot, which was teased during the May event – Indie Spring Spree. This enigmatic point-and-click game is now available on Nintendo Switch consoles.

Mechanic 8230: Escape from Ilgrot is a point-and-click adventure game set in a cyberpunk world, which has been acclaimed by players and awarded, among others, at the Indie Cup S’21 festival.

The protagonist, a talented mechanic, sets out to find his friend – the RO-2 robot. Together, they must uncover the chilling secrets hidden in the ruins of the Bifrostia world. However, this won’t be an easy task, as unknown enemies are on the hunt for the RO-2.



The players’ objective will be to escape from the city of Ilgrot, where the RO-2 is wanted. To accomplish this, they will need to collect items along the way and use them to solve numerous challenging and logical puzzles.

Mechanic 8230 captivates players with its remarkable fusion of stylized graphics, reminiscent of illustrations from children’s books, an intricate post-apocalyptic narrative, and a punk ambient soundtrack that sets the mood.



Mechanic 8230: Escape From Ilgrot is available from today globally on the Nintendo Switch eShop.

The mystery game of May’s Indie Spring Spree revealed! Blind Prophet – release of the month, available from May 26th

RedDeer.Games, a developer and producer of indie games for Nintendo Switch consoles, has unveiled the title of the game of the month, which is a part of May’s Indie Spring Spree launches. The tale of The Blind Prophet will go live on the Nintendo eShop on the 26th of May.

The Blind Prophet is a point-and-click game, with an intricate storyline and a cartoonish style – dripping with dirt and dense atmosphere. In the story, players embody the somber figure of Apostle Bartholomeus, on whom rests a task of the utmost importance – the liberation of the corrupt city of Rotbork and its inhabitants, from the power of the Great Evil.

From the artistic side, the game is inspired by a comic book style and has been completely hand-drawn by Baptiste Mina – the concept artist, illustrator, and founder of the ArsGoetia studio, responsible for the creation of The Blind Prophet. 

In addition to the sheer volume of puzzles and mysteries to be solved, The Blind Prophet is an artistic feast. Beautiful static comics, and a specially composed, tarry soundtrack – deepen the immersion and allow the player to participate in this obscure story on a spectacular level.

The Blind Prophet is part of May’s Indie Spring Spree, which has begun with the release of Tiny Dragon Story. In addition to the aforementioned The Blind Prophet, the following weeks will see new titles, such as For a Vast Future and Mechanic 8320.

All games will be available on the Nintendo Switch eShop with hot discount prices.

Catgotchi: Virtual Pet jest relaksacyjną grą w stylu retro, w której gracz ma za zadanie opiekować się wybranym przez siebie kotem. Inspiracją do powstania gry, widoczną zarówno w gameplay’u, jaki i warstwie artystycznej, jest kultowa przenośna konsola wideo – Tamagotchi, wydawana na całym świecie przez firmę Bandai.

Podobnie jak w wyżej wymienionej zabawce – lecz w całkowicie kociej oprawie, gracz poprzez odpowiednie karmienie, zabawy i doglądanie futrzastego przyjaciela, podnosi poziom zadowolenia zwierzęcia – a im będzie ono szczęśliwsze, tym szybciej urośnie.

Gracz powinien pamiętać, aby poświęcić kotu jak najwięcej czasu – by nie dopuścić do jego zbyt niskiego poziomu zadowolenia. Zwierzęciu grozi wówczas wzrost przygnębienia, mogący zakończyć się chorobą.

Catgotchi: Virtual Pet is available on Nintendo Switch consoles from today!

RedDeer.Games, one of the leading indie game developers and producers for Nintendo Switch announced the release of consecutive indie production — Catgotchi: Virtual Pet. Reminiscent of the 1990s, the virtual kitten care simulator thus opens a new event — Indie Spring Spree.

Catgotchi: Virtual Pet is a nostalgic retro-style game in which the player’s main objective is to take proper care of a cat of his choice. The game’s inspiration, reflected in both gameplay and artwork, is the iconic Japanese portable video game console Tamagotchi – published worldwide by Bandai.

As in the toy mentioned above – but in an entirely cattish setting, the player takes care of a cat by feeding it, playing with it, and taking care of it. The happier the cat is, the faster it will grow.

To keep the cat happy, the player should spend as much time as possible with his animal. The cat might become sad and even get sick if they don’t.



A unique advantage of production is the ability to care for several cats at the same time. Additionally, while playing the game, players can unlock over a dozen different cat breeds.

Catgotchi: Virtual Pet is a great opportunity for many gamers to embark on a sentimental journey of their childhood, as well as an excellent simulation game for youngsters – taking their first steps in pet care.

Cyber Protocol hitting iOS – RedDeer.Games enters new platform and announces first mobile game in portfolio

RedDeer.Games, a developer and publisher of games, specializing in Nintendo Switch projects, released their first game on the Apple App Store – taking the first step in the expansion into the mobile games market. This way, one of the biggest hits of the studio – Cyber Protocol is now available on iOS.

Cyber Protocol is a highly awarded, the hardest game in history arcade puzzle game, set in a Cyberpunk scenario with strong and dynamic gameplay. Players will face 100 levels with various puzzles and challenges, soothing themselves with a stunning synth-wave soundtrack.

–I’m very excited that we can finally announce our expansion into a new medium which is mobile gaming. ABOUT JOSYAN
His name is José Sanz, 22 years old solo developer. Games have been his hobby for as long as he can remember.

He inherited the passion for games from his dad, who gave him his console Master System 2, with a huge number of game classics such as Sonic, Alex Kidd, Wonder Boy, and many more.

Until now he published games like: Zeroptian Invasion or Tamiku, and he’s working on the remake of the famous Alex Kidd in Miracle World.
