Trash Quest, a retro platformer with raccoon, launches on Nintendo Switch today. The game has a NEW trailer and an amazing 80% price cut on launch. But there’s an important reason.

The Nintendo Switch version of the game launches with huge discounts for both America and Europe. Trash Quest is available NOW for 1.99 € / $ (80% launch discount). 

Where does this crazy price come from? Trash Quest is taking part in the great Indie Games Christmas Sale, which officially starts tomorrow. Trash Quest – release date revealed and a new trailer has just come out!

 

So you like difficult games? Are „Veteran” or „Nightmare” basic levels for you? You should try Trash Quest. The premiere on Xbox One and Xbox Series S|X will be on December 10 and on Nintendo Switch on December 16. Check out this new video to learn more about the game.

Welcome to the world of Trash Quest – a pixel art platformer in which your task will be to fight your way through the maze of the space station rooms by defeating numerous enemies with the help of collected power-ups.

TIME TO START A GAME
The action takes place on board of Deliverance space station. While the crew is ready for a long journey to Tau Ceti, being settled in their cryo pods, the AI on the ship, during system check has detected uninvited guest.

Aaand yes, it’s a small, filthy raccoon with a simple purpose in life – to collect as much trash as he can. But this time his task won’t be that easy since defense systems don’t allow to take another passenger on the trip.


INCREASING DIFFICULTIES
Trash Quest delivers exactly what you expect  – a short, intense, and tight platforming experience. The game’s world is divided into four zones, each with its own visual and musical theme, and the player has to traverse them by collecting upgrades and discovering new shortcuts on the map.

This is crucial for your mission because, in classic Metroidvania style, you can’t reach certain places unless you’ve upgraded yourself with the required ability. Like for example double or triple jump. 

IT WON’T BE EASY
The progression in the game saves automatically. BUT… there’s only one single spawn location where you reappear every time you die. Do not worry, any power-ups, abilities, or shortcuts you’ve unlocked will remain.

Trash Quest takes place on the space station Deliverance. The crew has just begun prep work for the long trip to Tau Ceti. The AI has been activated, and it’s performing a quick system check, but that’s not what you care about…

PLAY AS A RACCOON 
You play as a raccoon, not concerned with the complex defense systems, a raccoon that only cares about getting its filthy hands on the station’s trash, which is what this fluffy creature loves the most in this space adventure. 



BATTLE ENEMIES

CHUCHEL – The classic adventure game is finally coming to consoles!

According to the just-signed agreement, RedDeer.games will be the co-developer of the game CHUCHEL for the Nintendo Switch console. The release is planned for 2022.

“Chuchel charmed me with its original graphic style, great humor, and unconventional puzzles. I’m glad that we will be able to use our experience in creating and porting games for Nintendo Switch to develop a new version of this classic adventure game for this console” says Dominik Czarniga, creative director at RedDeer.games. 

“Amanita Design are industry veterans, an extremely creative and professional team. The partnership is going great” he adds. 

Chuchel was released in March 2018 and is available today for PC, Mac, and iOS/Android. It’s a comedy adventure game where the furry hero goes on an adventure to find a precious cherry. 

The title was well-received by gamers and critics alike. It has a rating of 81 on Metacritic, a site aggregating reviews from major media, and has won numerous awards, including Independent Games Festival, CEEGA, Anifilm, and BIG Festival.

AMAZING STORY OF ALOOF
The story of Aloof begins in… a closed psychiatric ward for schizophrenia. There is a nurse, Joram Van Schaik, working on it who helps in taking care of sick patients. But it was the field of IT that really interested him.
 
No, this is not the moment when our hero started making games. Although this thought had been with him for a long time. Later he worked as a cybercrime investigator, where he was mainly involved in hacking cases and encrypted communication.
 
In the meantime, he started making video games himself. He did not have any diplomas or specializations for it, because the only profession he had learned was nursing. But self-denial and undoubted talent have brought him where he is today. 

Joram has teamed up with RedDeer.games, the people behind Cyber Protocol, Art Sqool, Little Mouse’s Encyclopedia, and that AAA Clock everyone’s talking about right now. Together they bring Aloof to Nintendo Switch.

New 7 Horizons screenshots revealed

From the hot volcanic planet, through the frozen landscapes to the wild jungle – 7 Horizons expands into new sceneries and new heroes!

Get ready for exciting platform challenges with shooter elements – all with a comic book atmosphere, humor, and hand-drawn graphics. 7 Horizons is coming to Nintendo Switch, Xbox consoles, and Steam later this year. 

In addition to screenshots, RedDeer.games has shared new information about their upcoming project, the space comic platformer.

– 7 Horizons is all about original hand-drawn, beautiful worlds. We wanted to create diverse landscapes, with an emphasis on the Marvel-style comic character of the drawings, but at the same time maintaining a cosmic atmosphere – says Dominik Czarniga, Creative Director of RedDeer.games.  

As for the biomes and protagonists themselves, RedDeer.games presented information on three planets and their inhabitants. It has been confirmed that Jelly – the main character, a living jello – will be able to take the form of inhabitants of the planets he will visit.

SCORCHING WASTELAND

The atmosphere on this planet is seriously hot – from booming volcanoes to platforms flooded with magma. Everything on this planet screams – „fire”!

This was the first planet attacked by Invasion. Because Wulca’s people fought back, their home was damaged badly. Most of the space is filled with rocks and lava. Technology is scarce, rough—includes only stone gates. 

Wulca’s people are very proud. They live for a long time, even for thousands of years, and don’t often change their mind. They move slower, however, they make up for it with their great firepower, flame dash which damages enemies, and special skill – an explosion that injures all monsters around. In addition, their strength is useful in pushing large objects.

FROSTY LABYRINTH

The people from this planet were living in isolation even before the Invasion appeared because they cannot survive in other biomes and bad experiences with people from other planets made them suspicious and reserved.

This ice-covered land is full of dangerous traps – icy spikes and frozen surface on which everyone slides doesn’t make things any easier! 

Residents of Frosty Labyrinth do not care about minus temperatures, because their whole life is an iceberg. Their gunfire is slower – but their bullets are extremely dangerous, think of them as a kind of snipers!

Furthermore, their bullets slow down opponents, and if that wasn’t enough, their ultimate skill triggers an ice blast freezing all monsters around – these few seconds’ advantages can often decide the fate of a fight! 

Their special skill – sticking to walls – will definitely help overcome levels. On many planets, you can find special places where can use these Ninja skills and jump were no other hero can.

GARDEN OF WORLDS

People from this planet were peaceful and calm, so when the mutation started to spread they took another approach and didn’t really fight against the invasion. 

Plants’ people can heal themself – their shots suck the life out of their opponents, and when things get really dangerous ultimate skill increase the amount of life their steal! They have a strong connection with nature, although, their design and weapon can suggest that wasn’t always the case.

This great jungle of Garden of Worlds hides many secrets! From the ground full of wild flora to the treetops where one wrong step can end in disaster! The forest is not friendly to visitors, so in some places, the presence of natives activates plants that will help you get to further corners of the planet!

Sacrifice Your Friends, a Lovecraftian party game in cute horror style, will launch on consoles and PC later this year

Sacrifice Your Friends is a 1- 4 players party brawler inspired by the works of H.P. Lovecraft. The game was successfully funded on Kickstarter and chosen as a finalist in the Ubisoft Indie Series competition.

You battle your friends in dynamic, trap-filled arenas. This fast-paced party game in a cute cartoon horror style, created by Astrolabe Interactive, will be released on Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X and Nintendo Switch later this year, thanks to RedDeerGames.
